My Role: Technical Designer
What I Did: I created the breathing mechanic, as well as the state machine for the character.
Overview: Marathoner is an educational game created in my GAME 410 class. The premise of the game is to teach people how to breathe properly. When exercising, improper breathing will result in a lower performance and less stamina.

Software Used: Unreal Engine 4, Adobe Fuse, Mixamo.

This is the beginning of the tutorial level. At this point your character has no strain and a normal breath level.

When your character is out of breath or strained, they fall to the ground.

The player can talk to their instructor to go to other levels and challenges.

A kicking mechanic was created to allow for combat in the game, which would present the player with a diverse set of challenges.
